She graduated at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana in 2005. The title of her thesis is “A mistake of law in the law on misdemeanors”. In 2006 she began working as a lawyer in the Trade union for education, science and culture of Slovenia, where she worked primarily in the fields of labor and social security law and related legislation on education, science and culture. She also participated in collective bargaining and in drafting legislation on education and wage system for the public sector.

In 2010 she became a licensed mediator and in 2011 she passed the State Legal Exam. Between 2009 and 2014 she was a member of the assembly of the State Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia. In the years from 2010 to 2011 she was a lay judge at the Labor Court in Ljubljana. In 2012 she joined the law office of attorney dr. Blaž Kovačič Mlinar and on the 1st of April 2014 she began her independent legal practice. She specializes in labor, criminal and family law.

She speaks English, German and Croatian.
